Frequently Asked questions
When will my order be posted?
All orders are posted once a week, every Wednesday, for standard and express postage. These should be delivered on Thursdays or Fridays (I also offer a Friday dispatch for special, guaranteed Saturday delivery at an extra cost). All types of postage need a minimum of 2 working days notice. For example; Monday midday is the cut off point for the Wednesday dispatch (thurs/fri delivery) or Wednesday midday is the cut off point for the Friday dispatch (Saturday delivery). As everything is made freshly to order. Next day delivery is not available. However, if you missed the cut off do get in touch by email and there may be a chance I can fit you in!
Can I choose a guaranteed delivery date?
Due to the COVID postal delay situation I can’t guarantee delivery on a specific day. Ideally, order at least 1 week before your specific date and drop me a quick message or leave a note with your order. I will do my best to have your order delivered as close as possible!
How is my order packaged?
Brownies, loaves and muffins are all baked and sent in their own tray or baking paper to ensure minimal handling. They are then wrapped in food safe, biodegradable cellophane. This is packaged with protective wrapping and finally sealed in a recycled/recyclable cardboard box.
Are your bakes safe for food allergies?
Due to the nature of a plantbased kitchen there may be a risk of cross contamination with allergens. Gluten containing grains, sesame, nut (lots of peanut butter!) etc are used in the kitchen. These cakes are not advised for consumers with serious food allergies.
Can I pay extra for next day delivery?
As everything is made freshly to order and it just me doing all of the baking and packaging. Next day delivery is not available, sorry!
Do you offer refunds?
Due to the made-to-order & perishable nature of my bakes, I do not offer refunds. After I have posted your delivery it is your responsibility to be available to receive it. Refunds are only offered if your delivery is lost in the post, damaged during delivery or unsafe for consumption. I cannot take responsibility for spoiled items due to failed delivery attempts. Double check the delivery address carefully before placing your order and also when you receive your confirmation email or on the website in your account. This will be copied directly to your postage label. If this is wrong there is nothing I can do you retrieve your order once I’ve sent it, sorry!
